Read before taking the test

  • Your test-ID must be registered before it’s sent for analysis;
  • You take the test on an empty stomach in the morning;
  • You submit the test for analysis on Monday or Tuesday;
  • If tracking code is available, please attach it to the front of the envelope (found on your test-ID card).

Register your test

Before you start, you need to register your test. Your test kit contains a sticker with your unique test-ID. If you need help creating an account, you can check our guide.

Open the paper

Carefully open the paper by pulling apart the edges by the arrows

Place the paper on the toilet seat

Place the paper on the toilet seat

Place the paper on the toilet seat and fold the seat ring over it so that it stays in place. Place the paper a little further back on the toilet seat.

Place in the transport container

Open the transport container and take out the inner tube.

Collect the feces

Collect the feces

Collect the sample from the stool that should be on the paper. Using the spoon attached to the lid, scoop the feces into the test tube.

Fill the tube and add your test-ID

Fill the tube and add your test-ID

Fill the tube so that it reaches between the minimum and maximum line. Some stool tests require that you to fill several tubes. Close the lid. Place your test ID on the container.

Place the test tube inside the transport container and close the lid. If you have several tubes in your test kit, they should all be filled and sent.

Open the transport container and take out the inner tube.

Keep the tube upright

Please keep in mind that the tube contains liquid. Once you have opened the tube, it is important that you keep it upright until you close it again.

Pull out the dosing stick

Hold the blue part of the tube and pull out the yellow dosing stick with the other hand. Make sure to keep the tube standing upright so the liquid doesn’t spill out.

Collect the feces

Insert the dosing stick at 3 different places in the stool. The construction on the lower part of the dosing stick will pick up enough stool.

Put the dosing stick back into the tube

Put the dosing stick back into the tube

Put the dosing stick back in the tube. When you have inserted the dosing stick completely into the tube, turn it until you hear a click. Note that the solution will not change color – or very little – this is correct! It should not turn to brown.

Place in transport container and add you test-ID

Put the tube in the transport container. Label the tube with your unique test ID. Put the transport container in the enclosed envelope together with the other tubes.

Rinse the paper down the toilet

Rinse the paper down the toilet

Rinse the paper with the rest of the faeces down the toilet.

Send the test to the lab

Put the tube or tubes in the pre-stamped envelope. Send the test to the lab the same day, preferably on Monday.
