Register your test

Before you start, you need to register your test. Your test kit contains a sticker with your unique test-ID. If you need help creating an account, you can check our guide.

NOTE: Do not eat, drink, smoke, brush your teeth or chew gum for 30 minutes before collecting DNA.
Do not swallow the stabilizing solution. If it comes into contact with the skin or eyes, wash with plenty of water.

Grab the collection funnel and tube from the pack.

Check that the level of the liquid in the tube is at the 2ml "From→" line before use. If the colution is cloudy, warm the tube gently in your hands for a few minutes.

Unscrew the cap from the tube and attach funnel.

Be careful not to spill the liquid inside the tube and attach the collection funnel. Do not over-tighten it.

Start spitting into the funnel.

If the saliva does not flow easily into the tube, unscrew the funnel partially. Fill the rube with saliva until it reached the 4ml "Fill To→" line (not including bubbles).

Unscrew the collection funnel.

Replace it with the tube cap and screw it on tightly. Discard the funnel.

Shake the collection tube.

Shake it several times to mix the saliva with the solution.

Ensure your test ID is attached on the sample tube.

Put the sample tube in the silver zip bag.

Put the silver zip bag in envelope.

Place it in the trackable prepaid return envelope and mail.

Post it.

Wait 6-8 weeks. Once results are ready you will be notified via email.
